“Deadwood”s Ian McShane has been signed to play the Pirate Blackbeard in “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides,” the fourth film in the series.
The movie, to be directed by Rob Marshall, stars Johnny Depp and Penelope Cruz and follows Captain Jack Sparrow as he searches for the fountain of youth.
