New Regency is building quite a cast for the new comedy “What’s Your Number?”, starring Anna Faris. The movie an adaptaton of Karyn Bosnak’s 2008 book “20 Times a Lady”, and will be helmed by Mark Mylod (Entourage).
Faris will star as Delilah, a young woman who upon sleeping with her 20th guy realizes that it’s too many and she must have missed her Mr. Right along the way. With the aid of her womanizing next door neighbor, decides to re-visit all her ex-boyfriends in the hopes of finding the man of her dreams.
The planned May shooting schedule will give Chris Evans, who plays the neighbor, who will next go on to star in “The First Avenger: Captain America”. Matthew Bomer (“Chuck”) will star as Faris’ dream guy; while Ari Graynor (“Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist”) will be her sister. The casting of Faris’ ex-boyfriends has begun, Andy Samberg (“SNL”) is attached to star. An offer has also been made to Zachary Quinto (“Star Trek”, “Heroes”).
Andy Samberg is a very funny guy, that is a sure bet. We have never seen a funny side of Quinto and will be cool to see what he has to offer.
