The dream team of Viggo Mortensen and David Cronenberg have made “A History of Violence” and “Eastern Promises” together. They are planning their third collaboration, with Mortensen starring as Sigmund Freud in Cronenberg’s “The Talking Cure”, but a fourth might not be far behind either.
According to the Producer Paul Webster, Cronenberg and Mortensen will re-team for a sequel to Eastern Promises. The project, to be distributed by Focus Features, would shoot this winter right after they finish “The Talking Cure”.
