Courtesy of Empire Magazine, we have the first photo from John Landis’ star studded period horror remake “Burke and Hare”. The film stars Simon Pegg, Tim Curry, John Cleese, Andy Serkis, and Tom Wilkinson.
Written by Piers Ashworth and Nick Moorcroft, “Burke and Hare” is based on the true story
about the famous murderers, who follows the hapless exploits of these two men as they fall into the highly profitable business of providing cadavers for the medical fraternity in Nineteenth Century Edinburgh, then the centre of medical learning. The one thing they were short of was bodies.
This is the first feature film in 12 years that Landis has directed and his return to horror. We welcome you with open arms, cant wait to see the film when it is released later this year.
