“Fright Night” Remake Director Announced

The road for the remake of the Tom Holland classic Fright Night has not been easy but the film finally has its director locked in and ready to go.

According to the Variety, “Lars and the Real Girl’s” Craig Gillespie has officially signed on to take the reigns of the film and will be shooting from a script by Marti Noxon (“Buffy the Vampire Slayer”). Michael De Luca and Alison Rosenzweig are producing.

In the original film tell about a boy who in order to kill a vampire who has moved in next door, a teenage boy enlists the aid of a horror-movie T.V. host. Not sure what the what path the remake will take.
