Guy Ritchie heads to round table for “King Arthur”

“Sherlock Holmes” director Guy Ritchie is attached to direct a King Arthur project from Warner Bros, with “Trainspotting” scribe John Hodge writing the script for Atlas Entertainment and Hollywood Gang.

The film is going to re-imagine the legend of Arthur, who is believed to have been a 6th century king who defended Britain against Saxon invaders. The film will be based on Thomas Mallory’s “Le Morte d’Arthur,” published in 1485.
