The upcoming redo of “Conan The Barbarian” cast continues to get better and better. Last week Stephen Lang was announced as the villain Khalar Singh. Now it is reported that Conan’s father, Corin, will be played by Ron Perlman.
Originally, the word was that Mickey Rourke was being considered for the role. Instead, Rourke has apparently signed on to star in another epic, War of the Gods.
“Conan” is slated for release in 2011. Director Marcus Nispel has directed similar genre moviesk “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre”, “Pathfinder”, and “Friday the 13th”.
The reboot of “Conan” hopes to stay true to the original creation by Robert E. Howard, but it might be hard to watch which thinking about Arnold Schwarzenegger’s as the original Conan.
