Dimension officially announced that they have officially green lit “Scream 4″ to shoot this spring with an intended release date of April 15th, 2011. The best news of all is that Wes Craven is confirmed to direct.
Neve Campbell, David Arquette and Courteney Cox Arquette are going to be reprising their roles with a new cast of younger blood.
The original Scream grossed more than $170 million worldwide in 1996; Scream 2 also took in more than $170 million in 1997 and Scream 3 topped $160 million after it was released in 2000.
