After a plagued attempt to bring “The Man Who Killed Don Quixote” to life. Terry Gilliam might be gearing up for another go.
Tony Grisoni, who had been co-writing the screenplay with Gilliam, told Dread Central about a recent encounter the director. “I ran into him the other day in London’s Oxford Street,” Grisoni said. “He was strangely calm. I said I really hoped we’d get ‘The Man Who Killed Don Quixote’ going this spring. He smiled in a reassuringly zen-like manner and said that of course we would. Then he drifted away into the crowds. I think he may have found god. Or some money.”
Robert Duvall mentioned last December during an interview that he was in negotiations with Gilliam about playing Don Quixote de la Mancha.
