Tim Burton and Timur Bekmambetov, who created last year’s animated “9″, will reunite for “Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter”. Burton will produce the film, which will allow him to focus on his other vampire movie “Dark Shadows” starring, Johnny Depp.
Based on the just released book by Seth-Grahame Smith, author of “Pride and Prejudice and Zombies,” the book tells the story of the 16th president’s secret battle with the undead. Grahame-Smith will write the screenplay.
This is shocking news, since I would have figured that “Pride and Prejudice and Zombies” would have been made into a movie first.
