A remake for the 1979 controversial horror film “I Spit On Your Grave” is coming this fall. Anchor Bay is releasing it and Steven Monroe is directed. Thanks to Shock Till You Drop for the exclusive poster.
This sequel is really unnecessary and since the original was so controversial, there is no chance of reach that same limits. Studios today are more concerned about marketability and revenue. They wouldn’t dare release a controversial film. I am sure it will be rated PG-13…just kidding

The film retells the horrific tale of writer Jennifer Hills, who takes a retreat from the city to a charming cabin in the woods to start on her next book. But Jennifer’s presence in the small town attracts the attention of a few morally deprived locals led who set out one night to teach this city girl a lesson.
“I Spit On Your Grave” remake stars Sarah Butler, Chad Lindberg, Daniel Franzese, Rodney Eastman, Jeff Branson and Andrew Howard.
