“The Transporter” is being turned into a TV spin-off’s and joining the ranks of other feature films that have been down that road. Some of them are “Friday Night Lights”, “RoboCop”, “Terminator”, “Buffy, the Vampire and the list goes on and on.
Luc Besson will be involved with the series so that is a plus, no question.
According to THR, “Transporter: The Series” will be filmed in English with a reasonably-sized budget of around $4 million per episode. There will be 12 episodes in the first season.
Didn’t see this news coming but who knows if done right could be cool…I guess.
