Affordable tech

With Microsoft launching the new Xbox One this year, wouldn’t it be great to treat the kids?

Microsoft claims that the Xbox One is ‘the all-in-one entertainment system for the future, and an amazing 8.45 million tuned in to the recent Xbox Reveal event. With that kind of interest, demand is likely to be high when they are launched in the UK later in the year – so wouldn’t it be great to be one of the first to get your hands on one?

There are 40 new design changes to the new controller, which include a new D-pad, dynamic impulse triggers, and new ergonomics.

It can also boast Wi-Fi Direct, HDMI in/out, Blu-ray 11n, USB 3.0, 8GB of RAM and five billion transistors, which mean the system comes – connected and ready! It also has a wide-angle 1080p camera and supposedly comes ADM system-chip code-named Jaguar – a user interface similar to the one that Windows 8 uses.

Games such as EA Sports, EA Sports UFC, Madden NFL 25 and FIFA 14 are set to revolutionize the consumer’s experience of playing sports games. EA sports will be powered by the new Ignite Engine which is set to deliver new innovation in true-player emotion, living worlds and human intelligence.

Meanwhile, Turn Studios are set to release the latest edition of their top-rated racing game – Forza Motorsport 5 – this game is set to provide players with the most realistic sensation of sitting behind the wheel, yet.

Xbox One will also make use of Microsoft’s Cloud Technology. The Cloud will allow you to store your saved games in it and use a cloud saved game on another console.
