BPMD: Supergroup of Heavy Metal Icons Signs Worldwide Contract with Napalm Records + Hints at New Album Details

Featuring Bobby Blitz, Mike Portnoy, Mark Menghi and Phil Demmel

They’ve been teasing their formation and the arrival of new music for months, and now the wait is nearly over! BPMD – the new heavy metal juggernaut featuring icons Bobby Blitz (Overkill) on vocals, drummer Mike Portnoy (The Winery Dogs, Sons of Apollo), bassist Mark Menghi (Metal Allegiance) and guitarist Phil Demmel (Vio-lence, ex-Machine Head) – is pleased to announce that they have signed a worldwide contract with Napalm Records, joining the label’s growing roster of premier talent.

The members of BPMD first came together in the summer of 2019 with one goal in mind: to pay homage to some of their favorite classic rock tunes, give them their own heavy twist, and to have a blast doing it. We all could use a bit of fun, and that’s what BPMD is here to provide – a party on wax performed by some of the greatest musical talents in the world!

BPMD will officially announce the release of this music – arriving in the form of their first full-length album – very soon. Stay tuned for more details and music, coming soon!

BPMD bassist Mark Menghi says:“We’re super excited about our first BPMD record. Last summer, I was inspired and came up with this crazy idea and here we are, not even a year later, and it’ll see the light of day in these very trying times. The planet needs something to feel good about, and I 100% whole-heartedly believe these tunes will do the trick. Buckle up and make way for BPMD…”

BPMD frontman Bobby Blitz drops a few more hints:“The BPMD sessions were very fun. They took us all back to our roots and even pre-roots. As it developed, we all realized it was something special, as did Napalm Records, with one listen!”

BPMD will make their performance debut at Bulldozer Bash 5 in Old Bridge, NJ on Saturday, May 30! The event, which will take place at Old Bridge Elks Lodge, is a benefit show to raise funds for the Old Bridge Militia Foundation, a 100% non-profit 501 C3 charity foundation. Show details will be announced soon, but for now, visit https://oldbridgemilitia.org

Keep your eyes (and ears) at the ready – new music from BPMD is just around the corner.

ME AND THAT MAN, Featuring Adam Nergal Darski, Signs Worldwide Contract with Napalm Records

Evil has truly never sounded so good.

Blackened blues project ME AND THAT MAN – founded in 2013 by Behemoth frontman Adam Nergal Darski – has officially signed a worldwide contract with Napalm Records (excluding Poland).

ME AND THAT MAN released their debut album, Songs of Love and Death, in 2017 – introducing the world to their unique brand of folk and blues, mixed with hints of outlaw country. The atmospherically dark album provides a strong contrast to Behemoth with its catchy melodies and relaxed rhythms, and gives Nergal space to express his creativity in a different setting. Since its release, the album’s lead single, “My Church is Black”, has racked up over 2.5 million streams on Spotify.

ME AND THAT MAN has big plans in store in the coming months.

NERGAL on the signing:
It’s a pleasure to be working with a brand new team of people on a project which in many ways is brand new to me. We have some big surprises for you in the coming months so keep ‘em peeled. The record has been a lot of hard work; some blood, some tears but just wait and see, it was totally worth it!

Sebastian Münch, A&R Napalm Records, on the signing:
“As I’ve been a Johnny Cash fan for many years, Songs of Love and Death turned out to be like a memorial to the country music god himself! Nergal´s creative and musical brilliance redefined an entire genre, and the album’s dark and sinister vibes were most certainly noticed in distant Nashville. Welcome, ME AND THAT MAN, to the Napalm family!”
Watch “My Church Is Black” HERE:
Adam Nergal Darski has been a fixture in the music industry for years. As the frontman of black / death metal band Behemoth, Darski has been known to preach unholy sermons, praise Satan and sing about explicit blasphemy. Naturally, the next step was to channel those themes into another genre commonly dubbed as the Devil’s music – blues.

ME AND THAT MAN is exactly that – Nergal’s solo project will surprise and bewitch the listener. The visionary creative founded the band in an effort to showcase his true ability to adapt to any genre. Released in 2017, ME AND THE MAN’s debut album, Songs of Love and Death, delivered thirteen stunning pieces full of multifaceted riffs and honest lyrics. In summer 2018, a line-up change followed, but Nergal’s solo project was far from over. Stay tuned for more details coming very soon.
ME AND THAT MAN live:
18.– 21.06.2020 BE – Dessel / Graspop Festival
26.06.2020 ES – Madrid / Rock The Night Festival
09.07.2020 SE – Gävle / Gefle Metal Festival

Signs of Online Gambling Addiction

Trying to notice visible signs of an online betting addiction might be harder than an addiction to drugs; however, signs are always there. As indicated by the Arizona Office of Problem Gambling, both conventional and web online gambling addiction are at times alluded to as “hidden ailments” given the absence of physical symptoms or signs. Add to this the probability that somebody addicted to online gambling will deny an issue exists and it’s comprehensible how this condition can remain covered up.

The internet gaming business keeps on developing significantly as an ever-increasing number of gamblers visit these websites. By realizing how to recognize an addiction, you (or a friend or family member) may have a chance at stopping this problem in its tracks.

Questions to Ask Yourself

Regardless of whether it’s you or a loved one you’re worried about, the responses to specific crucial questions may help give a better picture of online gambling’s general effects. Key questions to pose are:

·         Have you at any point experienced difficulty controlling the urge to gamble? Would you be able to leave freely?

·         Have you at any point attempted to borrow money to bolster wagering propensity?

·         Have you at any point lost a job as a result of gambling?

·         Have you at any point lost a dear one or spouse due to gambling?

·         Are your loved ones worried about how frequently you gamble or the amount you spend whenever you gamble?

1.   Preoccupation

One huge sign of addiction to gambling is a distraction. Distraction happens when the gambler continually thinks of betting. They may frequently have flashes of experience in gambling. The card shark’s life is now centered on wagering and how to obtain cash with which to bet. An engrossed gambler may dodge out of specific commitments and spend some money assigned for other purposes to fulfill the urge to gamble.

2.   Tolerance

Much like the same way drug abuser becomes tolerant of the substance that they are taking, one of the significant signs of this addiction is that the gambler becomes tolerant of gambling. The person winds up tolerant when they need more money to accomplish the desired sensation, similarly as a cocaine addict needs more and more cocaine.

3.   Chasing Losses

Some of these gamblers say they’re only trying to win back the money they’ve lost. They’ll say once they cash out big, they are going to stop. Or on the other hand that they lost since they changed strategies or weren’t lucky. In any case, when they chase their misfortunes, they end up heaping up considerably more loss, and most time debts.

4.   Borrowing Money

What do neurotic gamblers do when wagering sends them into financial trouble? They borrow money—from their friends, family, colleagues, or even strangers, without always telling the real reason they need the cash. They may likewise have other people pay their debts. They may maximize their credit cards or go for a second mortgage.

5.   Always Wagering More

Like somebody who has alcohol or drugs problems, gamblers who are addicted have to up their “dose” of wagering to enjoy it. As it were, they need to wager increasingly more to get the sort of surge they need. Lamentably, the more they wager, the more they lose.

5.   Being Obsessed with Gambling

At the point when this occurs, gamblers can’t quit thinking about the last time they wagered and next time they’ll gamble. Any reason is enough to embark on wagering, and they will try any strategy to get the needed amount of money.

6.   Being Unable To Stop Gambling

A lot of gamblers know they ought to stop at some point, and they really want to quit. They try over and over, yet can’t fight the urge to gamble.

7.   Illegal Acts

Many fanatic gamblers become so needing money for their addiction that they decide to steal—through fraud, theft, or embezzlement —to proceed with their propensities.

8.   Losing Significant Relationships

Another sign of the fixation is the way the gambler’s relationships get affected; jobs educational opportunities, personal relationships, etc. Lastly, any harm or misfortunes coming about because of excess internet gambling can be viewed as warning signs of addiction and action should be taken immediately.

There are some platforms that offer moderately sized slot games where you don’t have to become an addict to enjoy all that they bring to the table. Visit this site to learn more about such games.

Dallon Weekes, long time Panic At The Disco bassist and one of the songwriters/ lyricists behind that band’s certified-Gold release Too Weird To Live, Too Rare to Die!, announces a global recording agreement between his I Dont Know How But They Found Me (IDKhow) project and Fearless Records. First up is today’s official release of the double A-side single “Choke” and “Do It All The Time,” its initial 2017 social media and TuneCore limited release, “Choke” accrued an astounding 5.7-million YouTube hits and 5.3 million Spotify streams, based solely on fan reaction and word of mouth; “Do It All The Time” makes its worldwide debut today.

From the band, “The hard working people at IDKhow are pleased to align with Fearless Records to unearth and uncover the rare and forgotten recordings of I Dont Know How But They Found Me. We look forward to rediscovering this long-forgotten music together and giving IDKhow a second chance. For the first time.”

“I Don’t Know How But They Found Me,” a piece of dialogue from the ’80s classic sci-fi film “Back To The Future,” is a musical entity with a conceptual backstory: a band from the late 1970s/early 1980s that got its start on a popular cable access talent show only to have its songs and music videos completely disappear, and fade into obscurity. And now, thanks to the advent of the Internet, IDKhow is seeing its performances and recordings being rediscovered – for the first time – by a world that finally just might be ready for them.

“I was in the middle of making a record when I came across this series of old cable access talent shows from thirty-something years ago,” Weekes explained. “It was this bizarre, low budget parade of the strangest people, and I couldn’t stop watching it. I wanted to be on this crazy show, which was of course impossible. That’s when the concept of ‘I Dont Know How But They Found Me’ began.

“Do It All The Time,” Weekes’ critique of the very popular “Do What Thou Wilt” philosophy that seems all too common today, is a brand new track, never even performed live, that was recorded in Los Angeles last month. “Choke” was recorded at Weekes’ kitchen table in 2016 and subsequently remastered for today’s release on Fearless. With a nearly non-existent budget, the recording was forged in large part by friends who made necessities like recording equipment available to Weekes. IDKhow live performances followed with Weekes enlisting professional drummer and longtime friend Ryan Seaman to play in secret around Los Angeles. As word got out, the duo would deny any involvement in the band, and would deny it even existed at all. This secret ‘deny everything’ policy quickly made each of their officially unannounced shows near-instant sell-outs. With an initial seeding of the project to Weekes’ half-million Instagram followers, IDKhow has accumulated a combined eight-million+ views on the IDKhow YouTube channel and 7.5-million combined Spotify plays.

Beginning tomorrow, IDKhow makes its first-time appearances at the Reading Festival and then the Leeds Festival, which will be followed by a handful of select headline shows in London, Manchester and Glasgow. Dates are below. A North American tour slated for later this year will be announced shortly.
